Four sessions filled with the rich colors of autumn! We will focus on the fall season with its trees, leaves, and grasses. During each class session of 2-1/2 hours, students will draw then paint the brilliant colorful aspects of trees and leaves. The first class will feature red MAPLE trees and leaves, followed by BIRCH trees, POPLAR, and WHITE PINE. Students will experiment with color, learn better how to paint the color they WANT to see, and avoid mixing mud. At the end of each lesson, students will have a completed work to sign, take home, and frame. MATERIALS LIST. |

"There is color over all colors which unite them and which is more important than the individual colors. At sunset the sun glows. the color of the grasses, figures and houses may be lighter or darker or different, but over each there is the sunset glow."
